Preparation

  • schedule a haircut

  • iron clothes

  • text me a picture of your outfits a few days before your session

  • I strongly discourage the use self tanners in the weeks ahead of your session

  • be mindful of tan lines, if you have them-they will be in your photos

  • bring hairbrush, hairspray, makeup for touch up

  • cover up blemishes

  • moisturize chapped lips

  • The Burwell House in Minnetonka-a rural feel with a stream, bridge, fieldstone walls, wood walkways, flowers (late spring early summer) and tall grasses

  • Big Willow Park-rural feel with train tracks, bridge, stream

  • Noerenberg Gardens on Lake Minnetonka in Orono (additional fee for park permit)

  • MN Landscape Arboretum (not offered in Mini Senior session) (entrance fee)

  • Millenium Park-gardens, bridge, stairways (additional fee for park permit)

  • Lake Harriet Rose/Japanese Gardens (not offered in Mini Senior session

  • always open to suggestions and new places!

 
outfits

  • wear colors that compliment your skin tone

  • wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident

  • avoid big logos and prints (small florals and stripes are ok)
