Senior year goes fast. One day, you're registering for freshman classes, and with a blink, your child is handed a diploma. Senior portraits are among the few things you'll slow down to frame, and I want to make sure they're worth it.
I work with seniors across the Twin Cities to create images that feel real, confident, and completely them, not stiff, not forced, not generic. Just your child, at their best, in a moment you'll want to hold onto.
Sessions are relaxed, fun, and styled around who they actually are. I'll take care of the rest.

THE SENIOR GUIDE
What to Wear
Wear colors that complement your skin tone — avoid colors that wash you out
Wear what makes you feel confident
Avoid large logos and bold prints — small florals and stripes are fine
Use Pinterest for outfit inspiration
Bring outfit options — it’s always better to have too many than too few
Make sure everything is clean, pressed, and fits well
Before Your Session
Schedule a haircut a week or two before
Iron or steam your outfits
Text Devon a photo of your outfit(s) a few days before for feedback
Avoid self-tanner as it photographs unevenly
Be mindful of tan lines — they will show in photos
Moisturize your lips and cover any blemishes
Bring a hairbrush, hairspray, and makeup for touch-ups
Day of the Session
Allow yourself plenty of time. Arrive calm and relaxed.
Bring everything you need for outfit changes and touch-ups
Eat beforehand so you're not distracted by hunger
Bring a friend or parent for moral support, if it helps
Trust the process — Devon will guide you through poses

The earlier the better, especially for spring and fall sessions, which book quickly. Most families reach out 4–8 weeks in advance to secure their preferred dates and locations. Summer sessions also fill up fast for rising seniors who want photos before school starts.

Sessions are on location throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Devon also has a beautiful studio in the Strong Scott Building in the Arts District of NE Minneapolis — 451 Taft St. NE, Suite 15, Minneapolis 55413, with free parking nearby.

Wear colors that complement your skin tone and outfits that make you feel like yourself. Avoid large logos and bold prints; small florals and stripes are fine. Text Devon a photo of your planned outfits a few days before, and she'll give you honest, helpful feedback. Pinterest is a great source for inspiration.

Your private online gallery will be delivered within a few weeks of your session. You'll receive an email with a link to your gallery where you can view, download, and order prints directly.

Since high-resolution digital downloads are included free with every session, you can select your preferred print vendor.

Devon asks that photos not be altered or filtered to protect the integrity of her editing style and her copyright. Sharing on social media is warmly welcomed and appreciated, as long as the images are used as delivered.

We'll keep an eye on the forecast together and make a plan. Light overcast days actually photograph beautifully with no harsh shadows. If the weather is truly unworkable, we'll reschedule at a time that works for everyone.

Payment is due at the time of your session. Devon accepts cash, check, or Venmo. No payment is required to book — just reach out to get on the calendar.
